    R.I.P. Hiroshi Yamauchi
    Saturday, September 21, 2013 | 0 comments
    It is I. Hello everyone.

If you are friends with an anime fan or you are one yourself, you must already know about the death of Hiroshi Yamauchi. *so sad (╯︵╰) -cries-*
FYI for those other people who really have no idea, Hiroshi Yamauchi was the 3rd president of Nintendo (I'm pretty sure everyone here know about Nintendo) and was the one who developed the earlier gaming consoles such as Game Boy, NES and SNES. He's also the one behind video game hits such as Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda (I'm not entirely sure if he's also the one behind Pokemon)
That's like a BIG thing. This man changed the gaming industry. Well, at the very least he contributed to it (if you don't agree to my earlier statement).
When I heard this, I was kinda sad. As a child, I loved playing Game Boy. I would always bring mine with me when we visit our relatives, eat in a restaurant, go on vacation, go to the mall, ect. You could say Nintendo was a part of my childhood. It was kind of sad, like a small part in me hurt a little. I respect this man for making the childhood of hundreds of kids happier. I, for one would always reminisce and recall the times when I would play Pokemon and feel the excitement after beating a Gym Leader....

So any thoughts about this man you would like to share everyone? Did he make an impact to you back then as a child? Any thoughts or opinions of yours are welcome here.

Top 5 Things I Want to Do before the World Ends
    Thursday, September 12, 2013 | 0 comments
    It is I. What's up, everyone? (*^▽^)/
I'm posting at school right now . (*≧▽≦) See, I'm in the blogging club and we need to put up a "list-type" entry. Well, it doesn't matter. I was planning to make an entry like this anyway (ʘ‿ʘ)
You know, I've always loved daydreaming about the future. I would always think about flying cars, portals, time travel, virtual reality.... Yeah, futuristic stuff. Whenever I watch sci-fi movies, I'd think "wow, I wish I live long enough to see that happen". Sometimes, I'd also see people doing extreme awesome stuff. I would say to myself "I wish I could do that. Maybe not now, but I want to do that."
So I decided I should make that the topic of this post. The top 5 things I want to do before the world ends. I'll be starting from the last to first.
    Here goes!~ (>_<)

    5th: Skydive
I've always wanted to try skydiving. Like, seriously. That is one thing I want to experience. It may be dangerous, but I think it's worth the thrill and excitement.

    4th: Fly
I've ridden an airplane before. I love the feeling of flying, of being in the air and seeing the world in a different perspective. Oh, and this picture
It says EXACTLY what I'd do if I had the power to fly. Too bad it's impossible to fly without a device (╯︵╰,)

    3rd: Time Travel
Well, who doesn't want to time travel? (>_<) I think it would be a great way to make history class exciting!

2nd: Experience having "summoned beasts" in school.
Reference from the anime Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts. If this would happen, I'd take my tests much more seriously.

    1st: EXPERIENCE VIRTUAL REALITY GAMING
Has any of you heard of the anime Sword Art Online and Accel World (awesome series, BTW)? They both have a similar theme: virtual reality. After watching them, I've been counting the days (or years) until they are invented.

And that's about it!~ Feel free to leave a comment and share with me/us what you think. (^_^)
    See you people around ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

    Awkward Years Project
    Wednesday, September 11, 2013 | 0 comments
It is I. Good day everyone. ヽ(゚◇゚ )ノ
This entry is my Awkward Years Project. You see, I read this article our teacher shared with us. It piqued my interest, so I decided to do an entry like that for my blog. For those who are interested, here's the link to the article:
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/23/awkward-years-project-merilee-allred-photos_n_3640205.html?utm_hp_ref=tw#slide=2731612

Unfortunately my photograph is a soft copy. I was too lazy to print it out (>‿<) I'll just be putting it here.

    Darn, was I that fat?
This was taken when more than 3 years ago. It is also my "best worst photo"... Very embarrassing (>///<)
    ... We're getting off-topic. (._.)
Anyway, the point of this whole thing is to encourage the youth (that is us) to be ourselves. And I quote Hikigaya Hachiman from Yahari Ore No Seishun Love Come Wa Machigatteiru:
"Fake people have an image to maintain. Real people just don't care."

You see, we all go through that phase in life where we feel awkward and that it's the looks that matter and stuff like that. It's not important whether we start looking in the mirror too much or trying to fit in into a clique or group. What counts is that if we are able to realize our own worth. As it said in Proverbs 12:16, "The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.". When we know that God has created us, when we are prudent, we don't mind what others say or gossip about us because we know that we didn't do anything wrong. Unfortunately, when we are "fools", we go with the flow of this world, even if it's already harmful. There's more to life than trying to be "in" and stuff. After all, there is beauty in everything. Even if you do not see yourself as beautiful, it's just you. Maybe you don't see it because you don't look for it, expecting that this "beauty" is not in you. It's said also in 1 Samuel 16:7, "But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Who you are now is because of the past. Don't be ashamed of it because it is what helped you be the present "you". In short, be yourself. Embrace what you have become. The past is not a hindrance and a shame, but a trampoline for you to soar higher.

So... That's about it. (^_^) See you guys next time (>_<)/

Prelude part 2: Introduction of Myself
    Sunday, September 8, 2013 | 0 comments
Hello everyone! (^-^)/ It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sorry for my inactivity, school stuff has kept me busy ⊙︿⊙ So... this post will be about myself. Since it is common courtesy to first introduce yourself to your guests, that is what I'll do
My name, as you all can see, is Cossette. I live in southeast Asia and I am also not good at math. Hm, what else is there.... Ah, my friend once said I was a softie. Well, I do get my feels beaten up a lot. (>_<) I'm just your average "weird, but not that weird" person and well... This is going nowhere... Let's move on to stuff that I love and stuff I don't really like.
I love books. Books are awesome. \(*_*)/ I love books more than clothes, shoes, ect. Well, actually, I never shopped for clothes. I let my mom get me a couple of t-shirts and jeans and we're done (not exactly picky with clothes). I also love cartoons. Any of you watch Adventure Time or Regular Show? They're my favorites so far. OH, AND I SO LOVE ANIME. I am quite an avid anime watcher. Just yesterday, I watched Hotarubi no Mori e, an anime film.
It was splendid. And also full of feels. Poor Gin and Hotaru (ಥ_ಥ)
... Aaaaand, we're getting out of topic (this will happen A LOT)
Well, as for stuff I dislike... I don't really dislike lots of stuff. I guess I'm the "I don't care what happens, just give me food" type of person.
So, that sums it up. There may be stuff I left out, but we'll get to know each other more as we proceed and as I put more posts here. Oh, and sometimes, I'll be putting polls just for fun! 。◕‿◕。
I guess this is where we part for today. Until next time~! (✿◠‿◠)/
