It is I. Hello everyone ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
So..... IT'S OFFICIALLY THE END OF OUR EXAMS OH YESSSSS WOOHOOOO SUMMER HERE I COMMMEEEE (> u <)
Ahaahahaha (> u <) Anyways, the anime community is a bit hyped about K Project's upcoming movie. The title was revealed yesterday (or not. At most, maybe a few days ago). Honestly, I loooove K Project (Isana Yashiro is <3), so I'm really looking forward to the movie, which is expected to be released next year.
I guess I'll review the anime for now. :D (sorry if it's a pretty amateur review.... I'll try to do better next time) Ok, so let's begin~
Anime title: K Project
Main characters from left to right: (starting at the second row) Izumo Kusanagi, Yata Misaki, Mikoto Suoh, Seri Awashima, Reisi Munakata, Saruhiko Fushimi
(first row) Isana Yashiro, Anna Kushina, Neko, Kuroh Yatogami
Synopsis: So technically it's about Isana Yashiro, a highschool boy studying in Ashinaka High School which is a bit outside the area of Shizume City, a technologically-advanced place. He's pretty normal, except he always forgets his school-issued PDA (or does he not have one to begin with *hint, hint*). So while going to the city to but stuff needed for their school festival, he gets chased by a group of people called HOMRA and tries to kill him. Turns out they believe he's the murderer that killed one of their clan mates. But wait! Plot twist! It turns out that Isana Yashiro was possessed by the Silver King (it's complicated. Watch the anime to understand it >_<) while he did that.
Characters
Rating: 4/5
The characters are likable. I personally loved the characters. I can't get enough of Isana's aloof personality and Yata's tsundere-ness (he's so cold to people but then he turns out to be a gentleman <3). Overall, the characters are good and have their own personality that definitely matches each of them (but please, keep your clothes on Neko). As for character development, it's just pretty average. Not too good and not too bad.
Art, Music and Animation
Rating: 5/5
Gohands (the studio that produced K Project) did a good job. Animation is good. Transitions from scene to scene are usually smooth. The art is also really cool. The backgrounds are very nice. Well-detailed, not to bright nor dim. The nature blends in with the urban surrounding, which is good. The music is also has that "mysterious" yet calm vibe to it to balance the busyness of a city. Sort of like a calm before the storm. Just the right ambiance for the story.
Storyline
Rating: 3.5/5
It seemed rushed. I didn't understand some parts of the story. 13 episodes is too short for it, in my opinion. They could've at least extended to 20 episodes or more so that it can be explained properly.
Verdict:
K Project is above average. It's not your usual anime plot. Good art, good music, good story. I just wish that they made more episodes for it, then I think the anime would be easier to understand, and it would be nicer overall. I definitely like the story, no question in that. Characters are also good, but needs more development. I suggest that if you don't fancy deep, complicated plots, avoid this one. If you don't mind it, then by all means please go check it out (^_^) So I guess my overall rating for K Project is 3.9/5.
So yeah! :D If you guys have any comments and suggestions, or if you have something to say about the anime K Project, then please feel free to leave a comment. I won't bite ^_^
See you guys around!~ ヽ(´・u・`)、
HELLO EVERYONE. I'm sooooo sorry again for inactivity. I was cramming studying for my exams and was busy filling in requirements and things :(
But anyways, it's gonna be our freedom from the military our summer vacation in two more days ^_^ I'll be having more time, more posts and probably do some anime, book, or game reviews (and maybe a vlog? Hmmm let me think about that) if I feel like it :D

The Blogmistress
A brief introduction of Her Royal Weirdness
Hello everyone, I go by Cossette— welcome to my blog! I'm a nineteen-year-old Chinese-Filipino law student studying abroad in Australia. I like to obsess over musicals, edgy memes, and general geekery. I spend most of my time sorting through syllabi for my classes, baking cookies, or lurking on Reddit. Since I'm on break from university however, I have also began binge watching lots and lots of shows on Netflix (what's a girl to do, after all?)
I am also that girl who is too emotional for my own good, and has a sad penchant for laughing (at myself, usually). Alas, perhaps my own peculiarity has scared off potential friends, but who cares? Someday, I will find my kin, my madcap ilk. But until then, I'll be sticking around here ┐(︶▽︶)┌

About The Blog
A description of my little corner of the blogosphere
This digital abode of mine was established back in August 2013 as a requirement for my participation in our high school's blogging club. Thus, I scrambled to create one, The Random Thoughts of A Socially-Awkward Optimist— the very website that you are currently viewing. I've long since quit (not to mention graduated from high school), but typing away my thoughts in this blog is rather therapeutic, and I like thinking that perhaps a smile has made its way onto someone's face because of what I write :)
“Sonder” is probably the best word that would describe all reasons why I maintain this blog. The word can be briefly defined as the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, and through this blog, I wish to be able to satiate that feeling in other people by retelling my anecdotes, thoughts, and rants, and hopefully I would also be able to lift up spirits along the way.
Life moves on and change is constant. But I want to document my experiences somehow: those ugly-crying moments, existential crises, or tears of joy and sadness. Then once change runs its course, we can all look back at these moments and laugh at our own naiveté. And hopefully, I can do just that by typing it all away in this blog.
The Jukebox
Current aesthetic: quiet holiday mornings, the smell of Christmas in the air
A little disclaimer: I don't own nor make money off of any of these songs, it's all just for a little good fun and mood-setting lol
These are the music playing in the blog. I hope you like listening to it as much as I do ◕ ‿ ◕ Simply click on the title of the song, and it will direct you to where I got it ❤
