Derp
I have a funny story.
So I was out yesterday. I was with my friends, since one of my friends invited me to go out for her birthday. It was fun ( V ^___^)V
Then I forgot all about my other Halloween post until a while ago xD
Sorry
I'm contemplating over whether I push through with it or not.... Since that post is already late, after all xD
Yeah. Sorry about that ‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ I'm such a bad person >___<
Ways To Spend Halloween At Home (scary version)
What's up, my friends? ☆ミ(o*・◡・)ノ Once again, it is I, and today I bring to you my list of awesome things to do when you're at home during Halloween.
You see, Halloween has changed over the years (the trick-or-treating will probably be here to stay though.). And of course, there are people like me who doesn't give a fudge about Halloween tradition. Well, either way, one thing that will stay is the spooks. Of course, Halloween simply must have spooks. Because half the fun of the occasion is to scare, or get scared. And for a lot of thrill junkies, both outcomes are as fun as heck. So, here you go.
1. Horror game marathoooonnnn!!~

You see, what's good about video games is that not only is it entertaining, it's also interactive. It's just as exciting and gripping as a horror movie. There are those survival-horror games out there, that's full of spooks and jumpscares that will mess with your mind and probably give you sleepless nights. There are the simple horror games too, like Slender, that can give you some quick psychological scares. And, if your family is hardcore, you can play Five Nights At Freddy's together. Perfect.
2. Read Bongcheon-dong Ghost, Ok-su Station Ghost, and/or Ghost of Masung Tunnel (all made by HORANG)
For all of you jumpscare junkies out there, I have more of these jumpscare-inducing things for you. If you've been lurking around the anime community for a long time, you might have heard this name, Bongcheon-dong Ghost, mentioned at least a couple of times. Some people say that it is the scariest thing ever. Some warn the innocents of the hidden jumpscares. And man, they are right.
I've never really had the courage to read it myself (;╹⌓╹) I just watched Pewdiepie read Bongcheon-dong Ghost (Cry did a video of it, too. Watch Cry read it here). Now, if you've been putting off reading this.... then JUST GO READ IT. It's not as long as you think. BCDGhost is also not as scary as people make it out to be. But either way... May the force be with you. *salutes*
As for the other two... I've never read them. But the pictures..... Yeah. Creepy.
3. Read creepypastas!~
YAAAASSSS .CREEPYPASTAS MY LOVE. So, for those who do not know, creepypastas are short horror stories. Ever heard of the "Lavender Town Syndrome"? That's a creepypasta. How about the "Squidward's Suicide" episode? Yep, another creepypasta.
I loooove these stories.... But they ruin childhoods. They are indeed creepy, and slightly disturbing at times.... But still cool. If you really want to amp up the creepy factor, look under the "based on a
Oh, and you can find some of these stories in their wiki. Let me just warn everyone, read pastas at your own risk. Because some can scar you for life (゚Д゚)ノ
I read this one pasta about the Sims back then.... Yep. Cannot unsee.
4. Scare peeps
This is a given. Deck out your best sadako look! Imitate that creepy doll smile! Maybe you can even go dress up as Jack The Ripper? Go ahead and get crazy. Just please remember to say sorry if the person gets traumatized xD
5. Look around the internet for creepy stuff
Maybe... Research about IRL haunted houses? Or probably about the top ten haunted hotels? Not that I'm promoting any of these things.
6. Listen to nursery rhymes.
Because They're as creepy as heck.
I'd like to make the list longer, but I'm currently out of ideas >.< Sorry about that. I'm not a big fan of horror, you see ( ´Д`)
So yeah! That's about it. Next, I'll post a similar list... except it will be a not-scary version (> u <) Which I totally prefer.... (>_>)
Anyways... That's about it for this post, mia amicos. Ciao!~ (ノ^∇^)
Halloween?
Hey everyone. It is I
Well... It's that time of the year again. It's time for monsters and ghouls to come out, kids to knock on doors and ask for candy, and to avoid all those horror specials on TV.
Halloween.
Wait, what?
IT'S ALMOST HALLOWEEN??
Time does fly by quickly, doesn't it? (@_@) A few days ago I was just cramming for the second quarter end requirements for school. Which really was just a couple of days ago. Haha
*awkward*
Now, about Halloween. It's not that I hate the event or anything. I'm actually cool with it.
But
please. No horror movie marathons 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。
As you can see, I get scared really easily, so I can't stand horror movies. Gore is fine though.
I actually like gore (*≧▽≦) Strange, isn't it (^_^;)
What's stranger is that I love scaring people, but I dislike being scared myself. But then, who isn't like that?ヽ(^o^ヽ)
Anyhow, I shall talk about my thoughts about this occasion, because I really can't wait for a later time to publish this (> u >). The second post about
The Count of Monte Cristo can wait >__<
SO.
Yeah. The only reason that I really dislike Halloween because of the horror specials on TV! It will make me look like a coward, but I'll say it-- I am eaaaasily creeped out by those things. I dislike any talk about paranormal activities, ghouls (Except creepypastas. I love creepypastas.), contact with spirits, haunted things, sadako (the only acceptable sadako is
this anime character >_>), and every other scary thing out there. Ugh. Especially Chucky. He's... an ugly doll >_<
His overalls, though (^∇^) Cute (^~^)
Hmmm.... Actually that's it. That's the only thing I dislike about Halloween (aside from
it being a pagan holiday, but then again. As long as you don't use Ouija boards and stuff, I guess it's fine ︶▽︶ ). I just dislike horror. LOL.
Anyways, what's good about Halloween issss...... CAAANDY (//●⁰౪⁰●)//
I've never been trick-or-treating before in my life, though xD I've always relied on our small candy stash at home for my sweet fix (。´∀`)ノ
Also, every Halloween, I have an excuse to get cozy and listen to jazz, to catch up with my reading, and have a nice cup of peppermint tea on my table.
Ah~~ <3
So yep. Also, it's a good chance to spend some quality time with the family. Maybe... to watch some movies at home (no horror, please ╥﹏╥ ), or bake treats together?
Yeah. I wanna do that.(๑✧◡✧๑)
Anyways, for my next couple of posts, I'll be writing a very short list of different ways to spend your Halloween, if you're staying home like me (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧ I'll probably make two versions of it. You'll see what I mean once we get there~ (> u <)
And... yeah! That's it for now, mates. What are your thoughts on Halloween? Do you love it, or are you okay with it, or maybe a teeny tiny bit scared like me? (^_^;) Feel free to leave a comment below~
Ciao, mia amicos! See you~ ( ^-^)/
Reactions to "The Count of Monte Cristo"
Hello, my friends ( ^-^)/ Once again, it is I.
So. These past couple of weeks, we've been studying about literature in our English class. Guess what book we're studying.
... Well.... It's in the title, so... (>__<;)
ANYWAYS. I reaaally wanted to read it for a while now, but I haven't been able to... because.... *creepily whispers* Hetalia fanfics....
Alright!~ So, lemme give you the gist of the book.
There's this dashing, young man named Edmond Dantes, yeah? He's got life good. He just got home from a long journey on the
Pharaon (that's the name of the boat he's a crew member of), was about to be promoted to captain, and was about to get married to this pretty lady named Mercedes. Life was sweet.
BUT! There's that small group of people who dislike our young protagonist.
Long story short, they framed Edmond for a crime, he got imprisoned, and when he finally escaped, poor Dantes was yearning for revenge. And thus.... *loud, creepy whisper* the tale begins.
Okay, so my first impression was.... well, I was captured. I love the book. It's.... It's.... It's beautiful (T u T)
I love his writing style. *raises hand* Friends, friends. This book is GLORIOUS. *sparkly eyees*
I mean, yeah sure, he uses a lot of deep words, and includes a lot of post-Napoleonic era political references and whatnot... But WHATEEVVVEER (> u >) Survive the first few chapters, and everything will start heating up (> u <) So much drama at the middle part >_>
As for the cons... Well... All I can say is that I think Edmond Dantes is pretty angst-y (>_>)
I can imagine him like Eren Jaeger from Shingeki no Kyojin. Except, instead of being obsessed with titans, he's obsessed with revenge. I can see him go all "REVENGE REVENGE REVENGE REVENGE REVEEENGE".
But gotta admit, I also imagine him as a really awesome adult guy. Like, Sebastian Michaelis or something. An angst-y Sebastian. Whew. Or maybe that's just my anime fangirl side talking.
On a side note, I wanna make a comparative analysis of this one and Jose Rizal's
El Filibusterismo. They are so similar >_>
Right now, it's half past 10 pm, and I've got an exam about this. Wheeee, so this post is kinda short. Sorry (^_^;)
I shall put up another post once my exams are over to make up for it~
So, has any of you read this book yet? What are your thoughts? Feel free to leave a comment below ( ^-^)/
(( a reeeally small P.S.: to the kind soul out there who followed my blog, thank you ;w; You need not reply back to this random banter of mine, but still. Thank you >u< *showers to you all my love and cakes and wonderful Earl Grey tea* ))

Dear Mr. Henshaw
Hello everyone~ It's already past 11:30 pm, so I'll make this quick ^_^
I just finished re-reading
Dear Mr. Henshaw, a book by Beverly Cleary.
Oh, the feels are like problems. They slowly pile up, and you don't notice them, but in the end... BOOM! It falls on you like an avalanche. Sort of like the anime Little
Busters!. I love that anime. Sort of like a happy kind of series... then you know what happens next. I like Kyousuke. Spontaneity level = OVER 9000!
Buut... I digress.
Gosh.... That book is sad >_<
I love it.
Aaand... since I
did read it, might as well tell you guys about it.
It's about Leigh Botts (he's a guy with a girly name... like the guys from
Free! xD), and "Mr. Henshaw", his favourite author. Leigh wrote letters to him, and one day, his teacher required them to write a paper about their favourite authors. You know what happens next.
So, Leigh asked Mr. Henshaw some questions. And, Mr. Henshaw's reply sort of started a change in Leigh...
And that's where it begins to pile up >_>
The story's open ended.... But no problem about that, though. I think it made the story nicer, in a way.
But oh, the feels are strong. >___<
I sort of want to start writing again... I used to write a lot (short stories... and a lot of fanfics that I never finished)..
But then, things went downhill.
But seriously. It's a nice, sad book.
Dear Mr. Henshaw, I mean.
... I just realized I made 2 posts in a day xD Oh well. This one's just short, so.... I guess it's ok? xD
So yeah! That's about it. Have you guys read the book before? Or do you know about other good books too? Feel free to tell me in the comments ^_^

INSTA-MYTH!
Hello everyone!~ It is I. Welcome~ ( ^-^)/
It is Saturday (yay!) and I'm lazing around on the couch, looking for some cute templates for Blogger (~ 'u')~
I love those Cyworld themes in
blogskins.com... But I don't know how to properly apply them to my blog without losing the current layout of the columns and stuff... 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。 Sigh
Aaanyways, today I shall talk about our homework for school.
We call it "Insta-myth". In a nutshell, what we're supposed to do is to show what Greek gods would do if they were living in our modern world, and edit Instagram posts about it. It's actually pretty fun (◕‿◕)
We don't get to pick which god/goddess we're doing though. So... I was assigned to do Terpsichore, one of the nine Muses, and the goddess of dance. It's quite difficult for me, since I have nothing I can do for it xD
Nevertheless, I scoured my closet for clothes that could pass off as "dancer clothes", even if remotely. As I type, my clothes are messily littered all over the place (@_@)
Interesting to note, Zeus had a looot of wives and kids >_> That naughty god >__<
So... that's it for now~ Are you guys studying about Greek mythology, like us? Feel free to leave a comment!~
