Ways To Spend Halloween At Home (scary version)
What's up, my friends? ☆ミ(o*・◡・)ノ Once again, it is I, and today I bring to you my list of awesome things to do when you're at home during Halloween.
You see, Halloween has changed over the years (the trick-or-treating will probably be here to stay though.). And of course, there are people like me who doesn't give a fudge about Halloween tradition. Well, either way, one thing that will stay is the spooks. Of course, Halloween simply must have spooks. Because half the fun of the occasion is to scare, or get scared. And for a lot of thrill junkies, both outcomes are as fun as heck. So, here you go.
1. Horror game marathoooonnnn!!~

You see, what's good about video games is that not only is it entertaining, it's also interactive. It's just as exciting and gripping as a horror movie. There are those survival-horror games out there, that's full of spooks and jumpscares that will mess with your mind and probably give you sleepless nights. There are the simple horror games too, like Slender, that can give you some quick psychological scares. And, if your family is hardcore, you can play Five Nights At Freddy's together. Perfect.
2. Read Bongcheon-dong Ghost, Ok-su Station Ghost, and/or Ghost of Masung Tunnel (all made by HORANG)
For all of you jumpscare junkies out there, I have more of these jumpscare-inducing things for you. If you've been lurking around the anime community for a long time, you might have heard this name, Bongcheon-dong Ghost, mentioned at least a couple of times. Some people say that it is the scariest thing ever. Some warn the innocents of the hidden jumpscares. And man, they are right.
I've never really had the courage to read it myself (;╹⌓╹) I just watched Pewdiepie read Bongcheon-dong Ghost (Cry did a video of it, too. Watch Cry read it here). Now, if you've been putting off reading this.... then JUST GO READ IT. It's not as long as you think. BCDGhost is also not as scary as people make it out to be. But either way... May the force be with you. *salutes*
As for the other two... I've never read them. But the pictures..... Yeah. Creepy.
3. Read creepypastas!~
YAAAASSSS .CREEPYPASTAS MY LOVE. So, for those who do not know, creepypastas are short horror stories. Ever heard of the "Lavender Town Syndrome"? That's a creepypasta. How about the "Squidward's Suicide" episode? Yep, another creepypasta.
I loooove these stories.... But they ruin childhoods. They are indeed creepy, and slightly disturbing at times.... But still cool. If you really want to amp up the creepy factor, look under the "based on a
Oh, and you can find some of these stories in their wiki. Let me just warn everyone, read pastas at your own risk. Because some can scar you for life (゚Д゚)ノ
I read this one pasta about the Sims back then.... Yep. Cannot unsee.
4. Scare peeps
This is a given. Deck out your best sadako look! Imitate that creepy doll smile! Maybe you can even go dress up as Jack The Ripper? Go ahead and get crazy. Just please remember to say sorry if the person gets traumatized xD
5. Look around the internet for creepy stuff
Maybe... Research about IRL haunted houses? Or probably about the top ten haunted hotels? Not that I'm promoting any of these things.
6. Listen to nursery rhymes.
Because They're as creepy as heck.
I'd like to make the list longer, but I'm currently out of ideas >.< Sorry about that. I'm not a big fan of horror, you see ( ´Д`)
So yeah! That's about it. Next, I'll post a similar list... except it will be a not-scary version (> u <) Which I totally prefer.... (>_>)
Anyways... That's about it for this post, mia amicos. Ciao!~ (ノ^∇^)

The Blogmistress
A brief introduction of Her Royal Weirdness
Hello everyone, I go by Cossette— welcome to my blog! I'm a nineteen-year-old Chinese-Filipino law student studying abroad in Australia. I like to obsess over musicals, edgy memes, and general geekery. I spend most of my time sorting through syllabi for my classes, baking cookies, or lurking on Reddit. Since I'm on break from university however, I have also began binge watching lots and lots of shows on Netflix (what's a girl to do, after all?)
I am also that girl who is too emotional for my own good, and has a sad penchant for laughing (at myself, usually). Alas, perhaps my own peculiarity has scared off potential friends, but who cares? Someday, I will find my kin, my madcap ilk. But until then, I'll be sticking around here ┐(︶▽︶)┌

About The Blog
A description of my little corner of the blogosphere

This digital abode of mine was established back in August 2013 as a requirement for my participation in our high school's blogging club. Thus, I scrambled to create one, The Random Thoughts of A Socially-Awkward Optimist— the very website that you are currently viewing. I've long since quit (not to mention
graduated from high school), but typing away my thoughts in this blog is rather therapeutic, and I like thinking that perhaps a smile has made its way onto someone's face because of what I write :)
“Sonder” is probably the best word that would describe all reasons why I maintain this blog. The word can be briefly defined as the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, and through this blog, I wish to be able to satiate that feeling in other people by retelling my anecdotes, thoughts, and rants, and hopefully I would also be able to lift up spirits along the way.
Life moves on and change is constant. But I want to document my experiences somehow: those ugly-crying moments, existential crises, or tears of joy and sadness. Then once change runs its course, we can all look back at these moments and laugh at our own naiveté. And hopefully, I can do just that by typing it all away in this blog.
The Jukebox
Current aesthetic: quiet holiday mornings, the smell of Christmas in the air
A little disclaimer: I don't own nor make money off of any of these songs, it's all just for a little good fun and mood-setting lol
These are the music playing in the blog. I hope you like listening to it as much as I do ◕ ‿ ◕ Simply click on the title of the song, and it will direct you to where I got it ❤
