INSTA-MYTH!
Hello everyone!~ It is I. Welcome~ ( ^-^)/
It is Saturday (yay!) and I'm lazing around on the couch, looking for some cute templates for Blogger (~ 'u')~
I love those Cyworld themes in
blogskins.com... But I don't know how to properly apply them to my blog without losing the current layout of the columns and stuff... 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。 Sigh
Aaanyways, today I shall talk about our homework for school.
We call it "Insta-myth". In a nutshell, what we're supposed to do is to show what Greek gods would do if they were living in our modern world, and edit Instagram posts about it. It's actually pretty fun (◕‿◕)
We don't get to pick which god/goddess we're doing though. So... I was assigned to do Terpsichore, one of the nine Muses, and the goddess of dance. It's quite difficult for me, since I have nothing I can do for it xD
Nevertheless, I scoured my closet for clothes that could pass off as "dancer clothes", even if remotely. As I type, my clothes are messily littered all over the place (@_@)
Interesting to note, Zeus had a looot of wives and kids >_> That naughty god >__<
So... that's it for now~ Are you guys studying about Greek mythology, like us? Feel free to leave a comment!~
Ciao, mia amicos~ ( ^-^)/

Hello there, everyone. It is I. How're you all? (ノ゚▽゚)ノ
I'm doing well, so no need to worry about me ^_^ No one cares, Cossette //slapped
Anyways, today, I decided to post something meaningful! Yeah! *awkwardly throws confetti*
Ahem, so I guess I shall begin.
You see, a kid approached me today as I was going home. I was drinking this coke I got from Mcdonald's, and was walking along the overpass. I passed by these poor street children. No biggie, right?
Anyways, they approached me. The kid was asking for my drink. Of course, I was still kinda processing the situation, so I wasn't really thinking, and gave my soft drink to the little girl. My face had a rather baffled expression, and I looked like I was eyeing the lass suspiciously.
... Which I regret. I wish that I'd at least put on a smile to show that I gave her my drink because I care, not because I wanted her to stay away, you know? That's the only thing that keeps bothering me. I'm kinda washed over by guilt, somehow...
Now that I have the time to sort of think about it, I'm thankful that God has given me the stuff I need, and even more. Sometimes, we need an eye-opener to see that we have everything to thank the Lord for. Although it seems like we're going through some hard stuff, I believe it's His crucible, so we can be "refined" into better Christians.
But, I digress. Anyways, as I was saying, I felt a bit guilty. Maybe I should've shown a little more kindness?
Well.... I don't know how you'll interpret what I'm saying (... well... typing) here, but the message I wanna get across is that... Don't be stingy. Share your blessings with the less fortunate, and try being kind. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when I help others.... And I want everyone to know that awesome experience. Because I think that it won't hurt to be kind every now and then~ (ノ^_^)ノ
Be the little ray of sunshine in our relatively dim society ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
That's it, I guess. So, what do you think? Feel free to share your thoughts!
See you! (^o^)/

Throwback #3: ... This Thing
It is I~ Hey what's uppp, brosss?~ ( ・▽・)ノ
So, did you guys know that it is SO awkward to be around a mad friend. I have no idea how to comfort them. And telling them "cheer up" doesn't do much help, either. Like, ugh. Cheer up, man. You've no idea how awkward this makes the situation. >_<
AANYWAYS. ( ^-^)/
Since
I am quite lazy I don't feel like continuing this I'm running low on things to write throwbacks about actually, all of them I can't find the time to consistently blog about this topic, I'll make this one my last about the throwbacks. Yeah.
Today's throwback is about a game we used to play. I also have no idea how to call it, actually xD We play this whenever we had free time, or were bored, or just for no reason at all
Anyways, to play the game, we drew circles at the corners of a paper (that was our "base"), and represented ourselves as symbols. Like one is represented as a circle, a star... You get the gist of it.
Then, we flick (idk how to explain this xD) the pencil from your "base" to somewhere, and try to invade the enemy's base. Simple as that.
It was fun :3 But then, we used to play it on rough surfaces, so it was difficult xD
So... I guess that's it~ I'll make a new entry soon~ I'll make it more interesting, I promise (•̀u•́)و ̑̑
I feel a bit lazy right now, so.... I'M SORREEEHHH (✘Д✘) DON'T KILL ME PLEASE >_<
Oh, and I made a music player for my blog! Most of them are jazz and/or soothing-ish anime/game OSTs, though. I think it suits the atmosphere I'm aiming for (

Throwback #2: ... These Things, Whatever You Call Them xD
It is I. Hello there everyone ^_^
So... just a little insert for this post.
I just heard that the Robin Williams guy passed away recently.。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。
That's sad. I really liked this movie he starred in, entitled "Flubber". It's cool.I love that movie. Flubber is very kawaii
But still... Condolences to the dude's family and friends (.-.)
...Anyways, enough sadness! *awkwardly tries to change the topic* Welcome to my 5-post series of my throwbacks 。◕‿◕。
So far, we have one. The "crush gears"
Well then, let's move on to the next one (★^O^★)
Okay! Throwback number two: these things.
Am I the only one that remembers these things? I think we called them "gameboys" (just like those from Nintendo ◠‿◠)
My friends and I made one for each of us, then we'd pretend to play the game together and make random sound effects and stuff like that. Technically, we pretended that they were real consoles (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜 We made only one for each of us and reaaally took care of it. Even if the paper's already crumpled and slightly torn, we'd still keep it (/•ิ‿•ิ)/ (Ahh... We were so imaginative back then xD)
After that, we'd cut out a whole bunch of rectangular papers and label them. Then those will be the game cartridges.
Oh, how creative we were~
... Well... It's either we were so creative and cute, or just plain desperate to play console games in school (๑>◡<๑)
Another thing. My friends and I used to crumple small pieces of used paper, and tie yarn around it. The we'd call it our pet (sometimes, I still do that... when no one's looking, of course >‿<)
So.... Yeah! (/・◡・)/
That's it for today's throwback. The question I'm gonna leave you guys today is: did you guys pretend to play on consoles like we did? xD
Imma end this post here. I've to study for a couple of big tests (which we'll take tomorrow ✖ o ✖)
Pray for me, my brochacos. I need all the help I can get xD
Rest in peace, Mr. Robert Williams *salutes*
Bye, mia amicos! (≧∇≦)/

Throwback #1: "Crush Gears"
It is I. Hello, everyone~ ( ^-^)/
You thought I was dead? Well, I'm not!.... Yet xD
Hahahaha~ I miss blogging (T__T) I miss you guysss *hugs xD*
Anyways, I'm back! I realized that I should abandon my blog, because I love my blog ^_^
I was randomly pondering upon the past, when I stumbled upon my elementary years. The years when we were all playful and energetic, (more) imaginative and adorable (we still are though. Natch! xD)... So I thought, "hey, why not make a throwback week?".
And so, here we are. Uh.... Ta-daaah~ ♪ \(^_^;)/
That was lame of me LOL
Anywayyyss, let me begiiin!
Throwback number one: Crush Gears
Back in my earlier elementary years (around grade 1-2), these were all in rage. I remember the dudes making a lot of them, and "battling" with each other. Even some of the girls did that. We'd modify them, add colors, designs, and attach some small spikes made of paper to add their "attack power". Then, they'd flick the little things around and hit the other person's crush gear, and try to push them off the table.
I thought it was fun, actually. I used to play the game, too xD Not with the people in school though. I sucked at the game... I just played with myself LOL *forever alone*
Now, it has become a little childhood memory amongst our schoolmates. No one plays this anymore, because it seems childish, now that we're in junior high school ( ̄O ̄;)
Hmmm.... should I try and make this a trend again? *conspicuously strokes chin*
Well, that's it for throwback #1. Chloe's gonna end the post here ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Hello everyoneeeee!!~ (^人^)
How are you guys?
Me?
My summer has been quite uneventful, I must say....
I WASN'T ABLE TO GO TO OZINE FEST ASDFGHJKL (T^T)
AND MY SUMMER WAS NOT SPENT WISELYYYY
Well anyways, let's forget about that because I don't want to remember that another year of indirect mental torture studying draws near... Σ(゚д゚lll)
So yeah. Recently, a friend introduced me to this game called The World Ends With You (Abbreviated as TWEWY).
AND I AM CURRENTLY VERY ADDICTED TO IT. ( * u * )
 |
Characters from left to right: Joshua, Neku, Beat (on top), Shiki, Rhyme |
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE GAME. LIKE, SERIOUSLY.
The characters, the art, the soundtracks -- I love them all! I love the story line, too (and the fact that Square Enix is one of the game's developers >u< I like most of Square Enix's works~)!
Anyways, TWEWY is set in a Shibuya. Neku Sakuraba (a.k.a. main character, and the one you'll be controlling), an antisocial and emo-ish teenage boy wakes up at Scramble Crossing (a place in Shibuya) without any recollection of any of his memories or of what happened to him (in short, he has an amnesia at a very convenient time. Sigh... main characters... *shakes head*).
He wanders around and a girl (named Shiki) ran to him and suddenly asked him to make a pact with her. Of course, if you had amnesia then it would be troubling, no? Shiki explained to Neku that they were in the Reapers' Game and they have to make a pact if they want to survive, and fight Noise (the "monsters" in the game), ect. ect. ect.
Well... that's kinda how it started.
And here's the setting and themes of the story, according to the Wiki:
The setting of The World Ends with You is heavily based on the Japanese city of Shibuya, including major landmarks like the Scramble Crossing. It even has the same currency, Yen (¥), which is used in shops. Many elements of the game are also based on Japanese culture, including the food, fashion and artwork in the game.
This game makes me want to go visit Shibuya someday!~ ^_^
Anyways, if I were asked who my favourite character was... I probably can't decide. Each character is really awesome. (But I am a bit into Joshua right now. He's sly and mysterious and Ikindathinkheisabitcoolokdontjudgeme) (>//u//<)
But I'm kinda into Beat as well... He's quite entertaining and he's a bit tsundere~ Oh what to do, what do do...? #fangirlproblems
And! I thought Rhyme was a boy... But she's actually a girl! I was surprised~ >u< She kinda looked boyish... But heck. She's cool.
Oh, and Rhyme is Beat's sister! But Rhyme does not know because her memories are Beat's entrance fee!
^ Spoilerrrr >_< Highlight if you want to see it ^_^
And Neku! Such character growth! He used to be sooooooooooooo emo, but as the game progresses, he becomes a better person <3 (also, I like his outfit)
AND
I kinda like Sho Minamimoto, the second week's game master. (Yes, there was a second week.
... Oops. Spoiler >_<)
I don't know why I even like him. His statements are too vague and cryptic, and he always cracks math jokes (hence his nickname, Pi-Face). And I suck at math >_>
But then again, all the characters in the game are likable.
... Well, Neku might be a bit annoying at first but he gets better ^_^
Also, the battles... Yes, they were very challenging indeed. That's a very steep mountain you'll have climb before you'll be able to be an expert at it. Honestly, they intimidated me at first. Controlling two characters is no easy task. But, you'll get used to it after playing long enough, I guess.
I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME
I RATE IT FIVE OUT OF FIVE
Anyways, I do think this game is very very good. It's worth a try~
On a side note, I started watching
Brothers Conflict a couple of days ago (I'm currently on episode 4)...
I can't believe I'm actually jealous of Ema! >.< I kinda like Fuuto, Louis, Yusuke and Subaru... Huehuehuehuehue >_<
